Togetherness, Civil Service and Taieri combine for the annual Club Cross Country Championships, held at Memorial Park, Mosgiel. Runners and walkers line up prior to the start, were then sent on their way by the Club Patron, Brian Cashmere, over two laps of 6.4 km journey. Underfoot conditions were testing, but spirited competition between the two clubs, made for some good results.
Gather at 1.00pm at the Athletic Taieri Clubrooms for all club runs/walks unless otherwise stated. Runs/walks are held in all weather. Often clubs run/walks still occur when there are Otago Competitions on.Club runs/walks are social and not competitive. Members should choose a pack to suit their pace so that the pack stays together. Please bring a plate for afternoon tea.
There are also runs from the clubrooms on Tuesday & Thursday evenings at 5.30pm. Please check Thursdays ODT for additional information or venue changes.

The official uniform of blue shorts and blue/yellow/white top is to be worn when representing the club at interclub events. Members are encouraged to wear the uniform at club runs and at other times to help raise the club’s profile.
Experienced coaches, Mike Weddell & Rob Urquhart are available to assist with training programmes and setting goals for individual runners and walkers. Athletic Taieri Clubrooms are available to members for weight training or exercise programmes.
